These terms apply on top of our main Terms of Service and cover everything related to your subscription covering the £5 trial, paid plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds.
You can start with our £5 trial: a one-off £5 payment that gives you 3 posts and 30 days of full portal access, paid up front before you start writing. You don't have to take the trial. You can subscribe to a paid plan straight away (see section 2), but it's the lowest-cost way to try MyCopyPal first.
What's included: Your trial gives you full access to MyCopyPal Pro plan (with the exception of the scheduling feature), regardless of which plan you signed up through. So even if you started from the Starter button, during your trial you can use everything Pro offers (the personalised content strategy, unlimited edits, performance tracking, repurposing and "why this works" coaching), apart from scheduling and publishing to LinkedIn. When you subscribe, your features then match the plan you choose.
One-off payment: The £5 is a single charge: no subscription, no recurring charge. Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record and processes the payment; their terms govern the transaction (see also section 6).
When a post is used: A post from your allowance of 3 is counted when you generate it (when you click "Write post" in the conversation). Saving as an idea before generating is free, and edits after generation are free.
When you've used your 3 posts: You can no longer generate, rewrite, or edit posts, but you keep full portal access for the rest of your 30 days so you can browse and copy what you've created.
After 30 days: If you haven't subscribed by the end of your 30-day trial, your account and all of the content in it are permanently deleted. We email you reminders before this happens. Subscribe at any point during the 30 days to keep your account and everything in it.
One trial per person. Where we've offered you a complimentary code, it gives you the same trial at no charge. The £5 trial is non-refundable (see section 6).
We offer two self-serve plans (Starter and Pro) and a Done-For-You service, each priced across four billing periods. All prices are in GBP. Both Starter and Pro are LinkedIn only.
Starter includes up to 5 quick button edits per post. It does not include freeform edits, the personalised content strategy, performance tracking, repurposing, "why this works" coaching, or scheduling. Those are part of Pro.
Pro includes everything in Starter plus unlimited edits (including freeform), your personalised content strategy and pillars, performance tracking, repurposing, "why this works" coaching, and scheduling and publishing to LinkedIn. Scheduling and publishing are carried out through our third-party provider Zernio; see our Privacy Policy for what it receives and our Terms of Service for how it works.
The Done-For-You plan includes everything in Starter, plus we generate and deliver your monthly content for you.

Edits do not use your piece allowance. Starter includes up to 5 quick button edits per post; Pro and Done-For-You include unlimited edits, including freeform.
Pieces reset: Your piece allowance resets on your billing anniversary each month. Unused pieces do not carry over.
Repurposing: Converting a piece from one format to another counts as a new generation and uses one piece.
A piece is one LinkedIn post. Your plan's monthly allowance is the number of pieces you can generate per month.
A piece is counted when you generate a post — that is, when you click "Write post" in the conversation. Rewriting and repurposing also each use one piece.
The following are free and do not count towards your allowance:
By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your chosen payment method on a recurring basis. If a payment fails, we'll notify you by email and give you a short window to update your payment details.
You can cancel at any time from your billing settings or by emailing toni@mycopypal.com.
When you cancel, your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period — you can keep generating, editing, and rewriting until that date. After that:
We reserve the right to remove portal access for cancelled accounts at our discretion — for example if storage costs become unsustainable, or if the account has been inactive for an extended period. We will give you at least 30 days' email notice before doing so, with a link to download or recover your content.
The £5 trial is non-refundable. Because your portal opens with full Pro access (except scheduling) the moment you pay, you expressly consent to that immediate supply and waive your 14-day cancellation right at checkout. Once paid, the £5 cannot be refunded.
Lemon Squeezy is our merchant of record, so the payment is processed under their terms; their VAT and tax handling apply, and the amount shown at checkout may include local tax.
If MyCopyPal does not work as described and we cannot fix it in a reasonable timeframe, you are entitled to a full or partial refund under UK consumer law. Contact toni@mycopypal.com.
If you subscribe to a paid plan and decide within 14 days that it's not for you and you have not used more than 2 pieces — we'll issue a full refund. Email us within 14 days of subscribing.
Beyond 14 days, or if you've used more than 2 pieces, we don't offer refunds for change of mind.
You can upgrade from Starter to Pro at any time. The upgrade takes effect immediately and is prorated, so you only pay the difference for the remaining time on your current billing cycle.
You can downgrade from Pro to Starter at any time. The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period, so you keep your Pro features until then.
We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change takes effect. If you don't want to continue at the new price, you can cancel before the change kicks in.
MyCopyPal uses third-party artificial intelligence services provided by Anthropic to generate content. While we make every effort to ensure MyCopyPal is available at all times, occasional service interruptions may occur due to factors outside our control, including but not limited to outages or maintenance of third-party AI providers.
These interruptions are not grounds for a refund. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of known outages that impact the availability of MyCopyPal.
If cumulative downtime caused by third-party service failures exceeds 24 hours in any single billing month, we will extend your billing period by the equivalent duration at no additional cost.
You can check the current status of MyCopyPal at any time on our public status page, linked from the website footer and the Help page within the portal.
Your subscription includes a monthly allowance of generated pieces. Editing, rewriting, and refining those pieces does not count toward your monthly allowance, and we don't impose hard limits on how often you can edit.
We trust you to use these features as intended: to improve pieces you've already generated, not to bypass your monthly allowance by using the edit tools to produce substantially new content. If we identify usage patterns that look like an attempt to bypass your monthly allowance, we may rate-limit your editing actions, contact you to discuss your usage, or in serious cases suspend or terminate your subscription.
What counts as fair use: editing tone, structure, examples, hooks, length, or specific words and phrases within a generated piece. What doesn't: using the edit features to repeatedly produce posts on entirely new topics or for entirely new audiences in ways that effectively replace the original piece.

Our plans are designed for individual use by one person or business. Using a single account to generate content for multiple different businesses is not permitted under a standard plan. Contact us at toni@mycopypal.com if you need multi-user access.
